How to travel from Bali to Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Lembongan back to Bali?

The easiest way, fastest way to travel from Bali to Nusa Lembongan is via Sanur Beach – Jalan Hangtuah Pantai Sanur where the Optasal Office located.

There are several types of boats available. I used the second option: Public Speed Boat to Lembongan Island(Mushroom Bay), Rp175 000. (around USD15), 30 minutes bumpy boat ride.

NOTES:

1) There are two places for the boat to drop you at. The boat will either drop you at Mushroom Bay or Jungut Batu. Mushroom Bay is near to Dream Beach where the best sunset spot of the island located here (10 minutes’ walk) . Jungut Batu is where the seaweed farm located. From Mushroom Bay to Jungut Batu, you need to rent a motorbike at 120 000rp (standard price), or you can rent a motorbike from Jungut Batu at 60 000rp. You need a motorbike to travel around in the island.

2) If you do not plan to travel far, yet want to relaxing at nice beaches. Then choose Mushroom Bay. If you want to pay for cheaper accommodation, cheaper mode of transportation, cheaper food, then choose to get out from the boat at Jungut Batu.

3) There are “One day cruise to Nusa Lembongan Island” operated by Bounty Cruise or Bali Hai Cruise to Nusa Lembongan Island, however, if can, spend a night or two here. It has so much to be explored. The whole island is sobeutiful, and is connected to Nusa Ceningan. Best way is to explore Nusa Lembongan is by motorbike. One day is not enough at all.
