Travel to Nusa Penida from Bali – Nusa Penida Day Trip
It’s my second time in Bali, Indonesia, but my first time in Nusa Penida.
I have seen and heard of this island from my friends who’ve been there already, and I just couldn’t miss my chance to see it myself. Nusa Penida is full of unique-shaped locations. It’s a beautiful and mystical island just half an hour off the coast of Bali. It offers a great getaway from saturated tourist beaches to untouched nature and amazing panoramic views. Me and a good friend of mine paid $90/each for a day tour in the island. It was a good deal though.
We travelled around 30 minutes by speed boat from Sanur Harbor to Nusa Penida and visited the different picturesque spots the island has to offer.
The should-not-be-missed-spots are the Angel Billabong, Broken Beach, Kelingking Secret Point and the Crystal Beach. The waves in some areas, like the Broken Beach, are really huge, so swimming is strictly prohibited. But we enjoyed snorkeling at the Crystal Beach few hours before we depart the island. So, if you’re up for a little adventure and down to stray from the usual circuit of Bali, then I highly suggest a visit to Nusa Penida.
This was just one of the many places that you shouldn’t miss when you visit Bali, Indonesia. And if you’ve never been to Bali yet, then you owe it to yourself to visit the island which, according to many frequent visitors, is arguably one of the most photogenic islands in the world. And I definitely agree with them! Trust me, I still can’t get over with its beauty up until now.
