Later this month, on the 20th to be precise, will be held Nyepi Day, the Balinese day of silence, when everything is closed…even the airport.
On Nyepi’s eve happens something very special: the Ogoh-Ogoh parade.
Ogoh-Ogoh are hand crafted figures made of paper mache or styrofoam. They come alive, carried by sometimes dozens of people, to be proudly displayed in the street of Bali.
