Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park

As you could see from the stories, yesterday we went to see this giant statue in the GWK Cultural Park.
.
It looks absolutely incredible, took 25 years to build this 121 meters high monument, which is the heaviest statue in Indonesia.

Let's fight agaist Covid-19 together!
Up to today (13 May 2020), Bali Island itself has 328 covid-19 cases, 215 recovered and 4 death cases.

School, beaches, and tourist attractions remained closed.

Updates on Immigration rules in response to Covid-19

11 May 2020 - The Directorate General of Immigration has informed through its official social media for holders of expired ITAS/ ITAP and MREP staying outside Indonesia are allowed to enter Indonesia. This information has been stated on Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation No. 11 of 2020 on Temporary Restriction of Foreigners Entering Indonesia - article five. “Foreigners whose Temporary Stay Permit (ITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP) is expired and/or cannot be extended, will automatically be granted a deferral with Emergency Stay Permit (ITKT) without an application process at Immigration Offices.” However, the visitors would still need to provide some requirements and follow protocols of incoming passengers during Covid-19 outbreak:

Possessing a valid health certificate (in English language) issued by Health/Medical Authority of the respective country;

Having been residing for at least 14 (fourteen) days in a region/ country with no confirmed cases of Covid-19;

Statement of compliance to undertake quarantine measures for 14 (fourteen) days conducted by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.

Another good news for those who have already obtained a visa approval (visa telex) or have been granted a visa but it has been expired due to travel restrictions or unavailability of public transportation during the pandemic; The Directorate General of Immigration has declared to automatically re-validate your visa.

Bali will be safe to visit again soon.
